Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 1.4 L Petrol & Ciaz 1.4 L Petrol
The Ertiga was previewed by the R-III (R3) concept car showcased by Maruti Suzuki at the 2010 Auto Expo. It was launched in INDIA on 12 April 2012
The name "Ertiga" is an Adaptation of "R-Tiga" means "three" in Indonesian, while "R" stands for "row". Therefore, the name is derived from "R3" which in turn means "three-row (MPV)"
The Ciaz replaced the SX4 sedan which was marketed in the country simply as the Maruti Suzuki SX4. Released to the market in October 2014, the Ciaz belongs to the B-segment sedan market which is commonly referred as a 'mid-size sedan' category in the country, as opposed to the 'compact sedan' which is typically less than 4 meter in length(8). Maruti Suzuki was targeting the Ciaz as the market leader in the category while also attempting to expand the segment sales volume.
