Around 20 mechanics from My TVS workshop and independent mechanics spread in and around Chennai visited the Amalgamations Valeo Clutch Plant on 23rd Aug’17 Wednesday. The meeting kick started with welcome address by Mr.Devarajan – R&D Mechanics department manager – AVCL , followed by technical and product presentation preceding which they had lunch with Valeo Marketing team and Sales team. This plant visit targeted all the passenger car segment mechanics and at the end of the presentation all the mechanics were taken for plant tour by the plant team where they were taken to the shop floor in which manufacturing process, facility , technology and logistics process of AVCL plant was explained. This created lot of awareness among them about our clutch manufacturing process, and created a confidence amongst them.
This was a great initiative taken by marketing team and Quality Team Consisting of Mr. Muthukumar – Product Booster, Mr.Dilip Kumar – Trade Marketer, Ms.Suma – Marcom specialist and Mr.Narendran Karthikeyan – Qulaity Manager.
