New Electric Solutions in the Valeo portfolio
The iBSG (Integrated Belt Starter Generator) 48V system, a versatile and affordable solution, makes electrification more widely accessible. With its iBSG 48V, Valeo has successfully risen to the challenge of increasing the performance of vehicles driven by internal combustion engines, while also reducing their fuel consumption.
15 iBSG 48V part numbers will now be made available in Valeo’s product portfolio, and the range will continue to grow in the months and years to come.
Valeo & Atul Greentech Private Limited joined hands to accelerate three wheelers electrification in India. The electric three-wheeler manufacturer has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), through which Valeo will provide the electric powertrains and powertrain control unit for Atul's electric three-wheelers.
Valeo will provide its 48V integrated compact electric powertrain system along with the Powertrain Control Unit for Atul’s upcoming cargo and passenger three-wheeler that is to be launched in India soon. In addition, Valeo’s engineers will provide the technology integration support to help Atul to go to market quickly.
Valeo, a pioneer and world leader in 48V affordable systems, launched in 2020 a fully integrated compact 48V electric powertrain system to aid affordable electrification for small mobility vehicles –two- and three-wheelers, that are extensively used for first- and last-mile connectivity.
